ALP Wins Gold and Silver for Premium Dealership TV Campaigns

Houston, TX— ALP Communications’ television campaigns for two premium automotive dealers—Mercedes-Benz of Anaheim and Shelly BMW of Buena Park—have won a Gold Remi and a Silver Remi at the prestigious 49th WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival.

The eight-spot Mercedes-Benz of Anaheim campaign was produced with advertising agency Feltman & Associates of Costa Mesa, CA. The eight-spot Shelly BMW campaign was produced for Shelly BMW of Buena Park, CA. Both campaigns employed ALP Communications’ Your Dealership Experience™ concept.

“Working with ALP was extremely easy. Their turn-key product was the perfect answer to our needs,” said Craig Feltman, President of Feltman & Associates.

“To win an award of this magnitude speaks volumes about the dealers who innovate in order to build business in their communities,” said Adrian Powell, Executive Producer, ALP Communications.

A long list of film greats were “discovered” at WorldFest, such as Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, David Lynch, Ridley Scott, Oliver Stone, Leslie Linka Glatter, Randal Kleiser, Ang Lee, Robert Rodriguez, the Coen Brothers, Gavin Hood, and John Lee Hancock.

WorldFest is the oldest independent film festival in the world, founded in 1961 by award-winning producer/director Hunter Todd to recognize and honor outstanding creative excellence in film and video. The Remi Award is inspired by the creative genius of the great Western artist Frederick Remington, famous for his paintings and sculptures of cowboy life in Texas and the West.

In 2016 WorldFest received more than 4,500 entries from 74 countries. In addition to many Gold and Silver Remi Awards, ALP has won two Grand Remi Awards, in 2009 and 2003.
